The Freshman Teams at Redlands High School are intentional groupings of ninth-graders designed to create a “small school” within the larger high school. Team teachers collaborate with each other and students in order to motivate students and monitor their academic and behavioral progress early in their high school careers. Redlands High School not only wanted to increase the prospects of graduation, but to also ensure students could meet academic expectations.
