The mission of Monrovia Healing Connections is to provide leadership and coordination so that Monrovia youth are empowered and can flourish in school and in life. The Healing Connections program is free to the district, with funding generated through collaborative community efforts to fund assemblies and for printing hotline information cards and brochures. The program included effective research-based strategies to improve students’ emotional and mental health.
