Learning Through Literacy puts innovative and engaging practices in place to ensure that every scholar at its school becomes a fluent reader and a proficient writer by the end of each school year. The schoolwide literacy focus involves meeting the needs of each student through small reading groups, peer-assisted reading assignments, an individual reading plan, a comprehensive schoolwide writing approach and intervention services for students reading below grade level.
