Roosevelt Elementary Community Reading Project is a program that exemplifies what can happen when a team of dedicated educators focuses on an issue, forms a partnership with members of the community and turns an identified academic need into an opportunity to enrich lives. Over the past nine years, the Community Reading Project has positively impacted the lives and the futures of 198 Roosevelt Elementary second grade students.
