National School District entered into a collective impact cross-sector partnership with Teachers and Artists, a nonprofit organization and the University of California, San Diego. The partners created The CoTA Project, a professional development model incorporating exemplary interdisciplinary instructional strategies that integrate multiple art forms aligned with the new standards. Teachers worked with 17 CoTA teaching artists to develop 135 model lessons that can be accessed online.
